Vitamin C is substance without which body cant function properly (with extreme insufficiency it would even die), but which it itself cant produce. So it has to receive it from other source. Source of Vitamin C is food or nutritional supplements.

Ailment caused by lack of vitamin C is called scurvy and its symptoms are bleeding gums, lost of teeth, softening of bones. When vitamin C is not served, the body dies. Especially sailors were suffering from this disease. The legend says the Columbuses sailors were cured from this disease by citrus fruits when theyve discovered America.

When we look at the symptoms of scurvy, it would show us where everywhere is vitamin C needed.

TIP FOR USAGE 

It is possible to dissolve Vitamin C in powder form in cold or lukewarm water and drink it as refreshing drink. It is not recommended to dissolve it or add it to hot drinks (e.g. tea) or foods as with temperature higher than 42 °C it is destroyed.

STORAGE CONDITIONS

Keep in dry, dark and cold place. After opening keep the container closed.
